Why the red carpet? Perhaps you thought I might be coming for a visit?!? I'm seriously going to suggest that it's for advertising and leads you in to some car dealer or the like.
I'm not sure, but I love the flooring. Are those pebbles/stones? It's beautiful! Maybe the red carpet is for the opening of a museum or something? Great photo!

the carpet lead to a the church door..where people walk or crawl on there knees. Tinos famous island for its churches!
I think its the line to procced the icon of Panagia of Tinos.
