The red carpet .

Can you imagine the use of this red carpet ?

The winner takes a postcard from Athens.

This photo is taken in Tinos island ,just 3 hours from Athens by boat.
I was in Tinos on August and I had a great time.

Hi Selena, it's fun when you give us questions to solve. I think it's for a wedding. The river stone pavement looks absolutely magnificent - will we get a better picture of the pattern?
PS - Re your profile, someone who puts chocolate three times in her 'interests' has to be dear to my heart!

Why the red carpet? Perhaps you thought I might be coming for a visit?!? I'm seriously going to suggest that it's for advertising and leads you in to some car dealer or the like.

Does it have anything to do with the Virgin Mary and praying on the way to the Church? I hope I am right?

Thanks, Great Shot!

I'm not sure, but I love the flooring. Are those pebbles/stones? It's beautiful! Maybe the red carpet is for the opening of a museum or something? Great photo!
