What I am looking from my window.
This post is dedicated to Kris.
Every morning when I open my window
I see my house's garden.
Let my explain you some things about my house:
I live on the second floor,my parents live
on the first floor and my grandmother on the groundfloor.
Are you suprised?
In Greece we usually live near our parents.
The ground floor as well as this garden,
they are constracted in 1954 by my grandfather,
it was the 5th house of Peristeri
-now Peristeri is one of the most
populate areas of Athens.

thank you for sharing your surroundings with us, Selena.
I think it is fantastic you still get a floor to yourself, yet so near with the family ..Perfect!
Exuberant garden of Eden you have, Selana. I like the spiral staircase very much too. Lucky you for having such beautiful house in the company of your parents and granma.
wow you live on a nice property and how interesting the house arrangement - perhaps I will have to stop by and say hi one day ;)
Thanks for sharing =)
what a lovely view and a garden, i'm not sure about living with parents although in my country it's very common too to live with the parents, somehow i was always very independent.
forgot to mention those chillies, they're growing like mad in your garden.
i like chillies and hot food in general. nice photo.
Very nice garden! It's funny, saturday i posted about mine in Brittany.
Your parents are lucky to see you every day, I miss my daughter who lives 850 km far from home...
Love all those plants. How lucky you are.
Nice! It must be great to wake up to a back yard like this!
Now this is really interesting, especially in the light of your comments about family housing. Thank you very much for this great insight into Greek ways of life.
